Your Neighborhood Bookshop

Zeeba Books was started in late 2004 filling a void in the local used book market. In fact, we are the only place on the South Shore where you can find such an eclectic selection of used and rare books. Come enjoy a nice cappuccino, hot chocolat or tea while perusing our stock of over 8 000 books. Bring a friend and relax in our den, it's the perfect place to unwind. We also have a couple Internet stations in case you're having trouble at home with yours or if you're in town visiting.

When the idea for Zeeba first came to us we sent out a small survey to a few friends asking what they liked and disliked about used bookstores. Not surprisingly their answers matched our own thoughts. The messiness, clutter and dust came out on top. We kept this in mind and proceeded to create an organized, tidy and refreshing shop; everything in its place but without loosing that treasure hunt feeling that can be so much fun. Our goal is simple; to be the best used and rare bookshop in the vicinity of Montreal. I think we are on our way there.

THE BOOKS

We have a nice variety of classic literature, mysteries, cookbooks, children's books (most of which are either $1 or $2), books on the North, history, sociology, personal development, true crime, romance, sci-fi (over 500 titles), and much more. Over 5 000 of our books are available to be ordered online by using the search form below. While most of our books offered online tend to be priced at $10.00 and up, we have thousands of books found only in the shop priced at $5.00 or less.
